GRILLED APPLE CRISP RECIPE

Doctor’s orders: eating one of these soft and smoky apples every day is no issue.


INGREDIENTS (serves 6)

  • 3 Whole Apples
  • Lemon Juice
  • ½ C Granola Cereal
  • 1 Tb Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 1 Tb. Maple Syrup
  • 1 ½ Tb heaping Brown Sugar
  • ½ Stick Butter
  • 2 Tb Pecan Chips
  • Handful of Craisins

DIRECTIONS

Preheat your Grilla or Silverbac to 400 degrees. After washing apples, cut in half and trim a little off of the backside so they sit flat. Core the middle of each half and set aside on a tray.

In a large bowl, combine granola, spice, syrup, and brown sugar. Add butter, pecans, and Craisins. Fill each apple with the mixture, piling on high. Put into the Grilla for 30 minutes until soft. Serve alone or paired with a scoop of ice cream.
