Australian Holiday Grilled Prawns

In Australia there is no greater consumed food during the holidays than grilled prawns! Our friends down under LOVE to drink, eat, and all around party during the holiday season, so let’s give this recipe a go, and join them! Cheers!!


  • 2 pounds of prawns, deveined
  • 1/8 cup canola oil
  • Kosher salt, to taste
  • Ground black pepper, to taste


Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

In a large bowl put the prawns, oil, salt, and pepper.

Toss the prawns until evenly coasted with the oil and the seasonings.

Place the seasoned prawns on the grill and cook for 3 minutes on each side, or until the tails begin to curl.

Remove from heat and ENJOY!
