Philadelphia Fish House Punch

This cocktail is older than America herself as it came to be in 1732! Originating at Philadelphia’s Schuylkill Fishing Club, this potent concoction of brandy, rum, and citrus juices was served at the beginning of every meeting at the club. It might be fair to wonder how the end of those meetings may have turned out?! ENJOY!

  • Ice
  • 3/4 oz. dark rum
  • 3/4 oz. cognac
  • 3/4 peach brandy
  • 1/2 oz. simple syrup
  • 1/4 oz. lime juice
  • 1/4 oz. lemon juice
  • 1 lime wedge
  • 1 brandied cherry

In a cocktail shaker combine all of the ingredients, except the lime wedge and cherry.

Cover and shake for at least ten seconds.

Strain over fresh ice and garnish with the lime wedge and cherry.
