Refrigerator Tarter Sauce (Remoulade)
Making sauces that we normally just grab pre-made in the store, is often times easier than we think. The ingredients that we need to make homemade condiments are generally laying around in the frig anyway, so why not make your own? Try this out, for fun, the next time you are making dinner and realize that you are out of your favorite dipping sauce.
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- Zest of one lemon (optional)
- 3 tablespoons dill relish (sweet relish is fine, if you prefer)
- Kosher salt, to taste
- Ground black pepper, to taste
In a medium sized bowl, combine all ingredients and mix until well incorporated.
Serve immediately and ENJOY!
