Smoked Korean Style Pork Ribs
Short ribs are always a fall favorite and we LOVE them here at Grilla Grills. This recipe takes it to the next level as we have introduced a Korean spice rub and thrown a sake spritz into the smoking process. SO, the next time that you want to try something a little different, give this dish a shot. ENJOY!
- 8 bone-in beef short ribs
- 1/3 cup of Korean spice rub (recipe at grillagrills.com)
- 1 cup sake, for spritzing
- 1/8 cup vegetable oil
Preheat your smoker to 225 degrees.
Apply the oil to the short ribs; just enough to evenly coat and serve as a binder.
Generously season the short ribs, on all sides, with the spice rub.
Let the seasoned ribs stand for 15 minutes and then place them on the smoker.
Let the ribs smoke, undisturbed, for 3 hours.
After three hours, spritz the ribs with the sake every hour until the ribs reach an internal temperature of 205 degrees; about 3-4 more hours.
Remove from the smoker and let rest for 20 minutes.
