At every great steak house there are a few sides that you can count on, and mushrooms are always on the list. Here at Grilla Grills, we have decided to take this old school classic and add a little smoke into the mix! Give these smoked mushrooms a go the next time you treat yourself to a steak, and you will NOT be disappointed. ENJOY!
- 1 pound whole baby portabella mushrooms, cleaned
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Kosher salt, to taste
- Ground black pepper, to taste
- 2 teaspoons dry thyme
Preheat your smoker to 325 degrees.
Place the mushrooms, olive oil, salt, pepper, and thyme into a bowl and toss to coat evenly.
Spread the seasoned mushroom onto a sheet tray and place into the smoker.
Smoke the mushrooms for 45 minutes or until fork tender.
Remove from the smoker and ENJOY!
